Verse 1:
Back in the day when I entered the land of Holland.
A bus drive, the whole day. Back pains and sleepless.
In the deepness. With soul of a fighter.
Brighter, day tomorrow is what I was looking for.

For the first time, saw a man homeless.
Begging for money. Holes in his clothes.
On the ground like boneless.
Didn’t know that was the structure.

Felt like a frightened mothafucka.
But at the same time, I saw new possibilities.
With a future for my wife, my kid and me.

Saw the shit I had to do wanted to live like a king.
But I had to start as a pawn.
Tried to find a job. To support my family.
A thousand miles away. And pay for them to come my way.

I had to leave them, in order to build up a solid ground.
In a land where the system isn’t torn up by hounds.
I just wanted the finest out of life.

The hardest thing I ever had to do.
Was leaving my family.
What if the city where they at, got attacked.
Yes I knew, I could not, forgive myself for that.

So we here now. Gotta battle hard just to make some.
Money put a roof above us.
Trust in God and I know God will guide me.
To be able to provide for my family.

A new language. No job I can find with.
This diploma, disappointment
So I guess I gotta find a new career.
